Don't people see the dangers of blind faith?

It must be like growing up very nearsighted or deaf. The kid doesn't know it's not normal until someone shows and tells him. I was raised Catholic, and was very myopic. At ten, the tested vision of the school kids and found out I was not well-sighted. It took me until 16 is renounce Catholicism.
