Waiting outside someone's office to ask them out: romantic or weird?

first of all.....does he know you exist...have yal shared any eye contact or anything that will make you think he is attracted to you....don't wait outside his job to ask him out, if you feel he is attracted to you then ask him if he want to hang out sometimes while you are in the building
