Why are democrats so jealous of successful companies?

I hear them complaining how oil companies are making too much money yet they never complain about how celebrities make millions for doing some unimportant crap like singing a song or throwing a ball in a hoop. Oil companies only make a few cents on every barrel sold. If your company is drilling for the worlds most coveted resource I think you would make billions too. State taxes on oil are much higher than what oil companies make per barrel. Also if we drilled our own oil we wouldn't pay opec prices.
