Can I be an intern for someone without having a single knowledge of the subject?

I will be majoring in film production in my college this fall, and I want to know can I become an intern for small film crew or film production without any basic knowledge of the filming field. I just have a passion to be part of a filming production and I haven't learn anything in filming yet because I was actually thinking about becoming a accountant but i decided to change my major before the semester started.
