Unsure if this middle-aged man is flirting with me at work?

It pretty much looks like he likes you. It looks like he trying to see if he can get a conversation going with you to test the waters. He's trying to figure whether you like him like that, or not. He could also be trying to be nice, but it doesn't look that way.
