What symbols of status are most aspired to by the Home Counties, White English Protestant, upper middle class?

If you worked as, say a surgeon, barrister, university lecturer, banker, judge, etc., and you lived in an upmarket Surrey commuter town like, say, Godalming or Esher, what symbols of achievement or status would you most likely admire and wish to poses? Eg. Which brands of cars, style of house, clubs and organisation memberships, clothing lines, honours, universities and schools where you send your children, etc. would you most likely covet?
