I am a recent grad. I was a double major in International Relations/Finance. I have interned for a US Senator and an Accounting firm. My gpa wasn't that great (2.7) because I was pre-med for a while which brought it down but my major gpas were 3.4/3.3 respectively. I'm studying my butt off now for the LSAT in order to get a high schore to make up for my gpa. there's a pretty good chance you're done, but you can still hold out hope you'll grow until you're 25. that's when males pretty much have no chance of growing anymore. you should look at the males in your family, particularly on your mothers side, and especially if she has brothers, as i hear that's a really strong indicator. ask them when they stopped growing.

Any reason an ECM computer can fry?

I recently took my 94 Honda Passport to a local shop for a clutch inspection, I was told that in order for them to inspect it they had to remove the transmission. Later come to find out I needed a clutch set, flywheel,etc... the service manager called me back to inform me he had good new and bad news, First, the good new was that the radiator had not been leaking coolant, second, the clutch set was placed in the car the technician that worked on the car took it out for a test drive and it ran beautifully, However, when the technician shut the car off and attempted to start it up it would not start. Service manager said engine would not crank and there was no spark, it must be an electrical problem he said. Diagnostic determined ECM computer had been fried. I told them to leave my car alone and I would find a way to get it out of their shop. Service manager called back w/in 30 min advising me he spoke to his boss and they would give me the computer discounted and I told him I should not have to pay for all I know the technician that worked on my car could have possibly fried the computer. They would not own up to their mistake that cost me more money so I ended up paying almost $400 just because it was going to be 4th of July weekend and did not want my vehicle sitting in their shop any longer plus I need transportation for work. Can anyone please give me advice? Could it be possible that the technician when placing the transmission back into the vehicle could have fried the ECM computer? how do ECM computers fry? How can I prove in small claims court that my car was running properly when I left it in the shop's possession?

Should I go to medical school?

Please if you have personal experience reply to this. I always wanted to be a doctor (mainly a pediatrician or a family physician), but my dream was sort of lost when I saw a kid have a seizure. I don't think i would have to deal with this in the field I would be in, but in Med school, don't you have to go through internships at emergency care centers and stuff? What would cause my 3 year old to jerk when falling asleep?

My daughter has been sick for 3 days with a bad cough, and will not eat or drink. We went to the ER today and they determined after chest x-rays that she has pneumonia. She has not been getting good sleep from coughing all night. My question is, why does her body jerk (like when you fall in your dreams) right as she's falling asleep? My whole life I have felt as though I need to help other people with their problems, yet I'm spiraling down a path of depression. First of all, I use to have this great computer that was a fast computer that I could get my job done pretty quick. I type 95 wpm. So they remove this great computer ,and instead give me a 10 year old computer in which it's very hard to do my own work. My main contribution to the company was learning in my intern ,but 3 weeks before he makes a decision (my boss) whether to keep me or not he slams me with all of this work that involves learning a complete different piece of software ,and expects me to adapt. I adapt as fast as possible ,and constantly get lectures and whined at for making "mistakes." First of all, I developed the company intranet ,and have done Data Administration work ,and type 95 wpm in which they have not given me credit. He gives me a piece of software literally 2 days after hiring me ,and expects me to learn it ,and gets pissed because I made "mistakes" which is inevitable for a first time user on a certain software. And when I try to impress he shuts down my ideas or gets upset ,and then sometimes he even decides he likes them. It's about 2 weeks since I graduated ,and I am beginning to question whether my job is really worth it. Since then I have moved in which it takes me a 45 minute drive to go to work + traffic. So literally I am making $60 for 10 hours of my time which is poor I literally view this as working at McDonald's ,and driving so far to work there ,but this isn't the case. They are paying me to use my freaking brain ,and I am not getting respected for it. It's just I have so much anxiety from my whiny boss who can't stand "mistakes" even if they are minimal very very minimal ,and just because I am a person of great integrity have I stayed because I want to display true value to the company. However, they took away my good computer, they are giving me tasks I never was even taught ,and I ask for a job description and he responds that "until you don't make mistakes, your still an intern" so what the hell am I doing here? Truck debtor is different from Registered owner?

My father-in-law just passed away. He didn't have many posessions, but we just now realized he has been driving a brand �ew truck. When we checked the registration, its registered i� his name. We did a lien search, and have determined that the truck was financed by a lady friend he had for a very short period of time, and who was out of the picture when he passed away. We are confused on what to do. We realize the truck technically belongs to this woman, however we do not really want to give it to her while its in his name. Any ideas?

I hear them complaining how oil companies are making too much money yet they never complain about how celebrities make millions for doing some unimportant crap like singing a song or throwing a ball in a hoop. Oil companies only make a few cents on every barrel sold. If your company is drilling for the worlds most coveted resource I think you would make billions too. State taxes on oil are much higher than what oil companies make per barrel. Also if we drilled our own oil we wouldn't pay opec prices.

Do allergy shots really work?

I have horrible, severe allergies. Im allergic to soy as well as small animals, cats, many kinds of trees, bluegrass, mold, and of course dust. This is not all the time but I find that days that I do have allergies, all my daily activities are hindered. I am still covered under my parents' health insurance and I am considering allergy shots, but I'm hesitant because the allergist is 40 minutes away and this is a 5 year commitment to treatment. Also I try to utilize homeopathy and at-home treatments as much as I can but that hasn't worked in the past, although the drugs I take now don't seem to do it either. Should I get back with my daughters father?

A few days ago, my sisters received a call from their friends saying there's a company in capital city is hiring interns and they'll be paid around $3000, they'll get an apartment provided by the company and they'll have to live with complete strangers. Well phenotypes are physical characteristics. Genotype are it's genes. Normally you would use a punnet square to slove this. The capital letters mean the dominant trait and the lowercase letters are ressecive allele. So like for the first problem yellow is dominant to blue so the genotype for all of those traits would be: Yellow; YY or Yy and Blue; yy. So if that helps any try and figure out the second problem. How do I update my resume if I volunteered at a site, then later interned at the same site?

I was doing some volunteer work for a nursing home so I have that on my resume. A few months later, I interned for the same nursing home and am not sure on how to update my resume. Discouraged with dating :/?

So I've been single for about a year and a half, partly so I could finish my degree and now that I'm interning I'm more open to date because I have more time. Well, first you need to have a experience on stage. Try to do a play ASAP. You need to see if drama is your thing. Then, you need to do training and acting/singing lessons. You should learn how to dance too, so you can be a "triple threat" and agents and casting directors like that. You should also do headshots for your agent to send over to casting directors. Texas Southern is one of the truly worst law schools in America. The good news is you will be able to get in there, bad news is its terrible. It regularly ranks in the bottom, and it would rank dead last but most of those rankings give it points for ethnic diversity. However, purely on academics its the worst. I know a lot of smart people who had high SAT scores that could of got them into good schools, but instead chose to go to a cheap college and save money. Their theory was regardless of what school they went to they would still end up in a high paying job because of their intellect not what college they went to. All he needed was bachelors degree in Mathmatics/ Actuary Science from a local university he commuted to that was very inexpensive. He has been an actuary for about 6 years now and passed all five of the tests. Can someone critique the prologue to my story?

This has some good elements but this is too random for a prologue. Especially if this person is not a major character, why put this before your story? If this scene can be put somewhere into your story, why use it as a prologue? This is a great, descriptive scene but it isn't a good opening to a story. A beginning has to grab the reader's attention. A prologue should only be used to explain back story that can't be fit neatly into your plot. This is a good scene...It just doesn't have enough to grab the attention of the reader. It sounds like a fashion magazine article and there isn't any feeling to the characters.
